after the storm... and 'the next three days'.

Well. It's 4:46pm, dark, 27 frickin' degrees outside, and I'm waiting for the tea kettle to hurry up and heat up on our electric stove.
I'm making meself some Ginger Peach tea. {republic of tea}
Amazing stuff, my friends. Amazing.
...............
I love this song. {I would suggest taking this song to the YT site if you're looking to actually watch it, since it won't show the option for HD on the version posted here...as far as I can see, anyhow.}
I brewed some Mahogany from Caribou this morning. Mmm, that stuff is good. Dark roast, and so smooth.
Dad, Anna, Ben, Caleb and me, we all went to see The Next Three Days.
It ended up being pretty good. Russell Crowe was, too.
We met Heather there, since the theater it was at was in her neck of the woods.... That was fun, since we tend to do a bit of quiet talking/whispering when we see movies. We're not the completely silent types, ya know. ;) There were a few trailers, one of which [Sanctum] looked slightly freaky. Hah, just slightly. Since I don't exactly have an affinity for under-water voyages. Deep water. That beneath-the-iceberg scene I heard about in that K19 Widow Maker movie a long time ago. *shudder* okay, so it was only 8 years ago. whatever.
They showed the trailer for Rabbit Hole, which looks heart-breaking. I Am Number Four, which I couldn't figure out and it looked pointless anyhow.
The Warrior's Way seems like it'll be interesting. Amusing. We'll have to wait and see.
When The Next Three Days got suspenseful, of course, I was wondering about the end; it would have to be at least tolerably good to do the suspense justice. It kinda did.
Methinks I'm going to get up a bit of motivation and see what I can tackle next for my wingback chair......
~~~~~~
And after the storm,
I run and run as the rains come
And I look up, I look up,
on my knees and out of luck,
I look up.
Night has always pushed up day
You must know life to see decay
But I won't rot, I won't rot
Not this mind and not this heart,
I won't rot.
And I took you by the hand
And we stood tall,
And remembered our own land,
What we lived for.
And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.
And now I cling to what I knew
I saw exactly what was true
But oh no more.
That's why I hold,
That's why I hold with all I have.
That's why I hold.
I will die alone and be left there.
Well I guess I'll just go home,
Oh God knows where.
Because death is just so full and mine so small.
Well I'm scared of what's behind and what's before.
And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.
And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.
