music: awake my soul

I love this song.
I love their sound--the unique...the accents...I've really been on a Mumford stint of music.
I'm hoping not to wear them out. That's easy to do, when you clean the kitchen.
Which, speaking of that most-lovely-room-in-the-house-besides-the-bedroom, it's looking quite nice right now. Though I haven't seen it for maybe half an hour...ahem....damage could be done. Counters dirtied, snacks made, dishes stacked up once again in wait of my magic.
:)
I don't flatter myself at all, do I?? heheheh

This was me earlier:
"It's Friday?? Ohmygosh it's Friday. Well...I should be thankful there's a kitchen to clean:) Acoustic guitar to play... Hot coffee to drink... *laughs* And a watercolor waiting for my brain to come around and for time to be set aside."

~~~
How fickle my heart and how woozy my eyes
I struggle to find any truth in your lies
And now my heart stumbles on things I don't know
This weakness I feel I must finally show
Lend me your hand and we'll conquer them all
But lend me your heart and I'll just let you fall
Lend me your eyes I can change what you see
But your soul you must keep, totally free
Har har, har har, har har, har har
In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die
Where you invest your love, you invest your life
In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die
Where you invest your love, you invest your life
Awake my soul, awake my soul
Awake my soul
You were made to meet your maker
Awake my soul, awake my soul
Awake my soul
You were made to meet your maker
You were made to meet your maker
[Mumford & Sons; awake my soul]
I don't think Mumford & Sons can be worn out. It's just not possible.
(P.S. - I left a comment on one of your earlier posts to the extend of "I like your blog and am so glad you introduced yourself," but it is no longer there. Sorry on behalf of technology!)
